We know that you will be pleased with your purchases from ILGS Ltd. However, there may be occasions when you will need to return items to us.
Items Damaged in Transit
If any items were damaged in transit, we ask that you report it to us within 48 hours. If the items are visibly damaged on receipt, the carrier's delivery note must be signed “BOX DAMAGED”. Items should be returned in their original packaging complete with all accessories and documentation. Once received back into our warehouse, we'll issue a replacement or full refund to you via your original payment method and reimburse your reasonable return carriage costs.
Items Faulty on Arrival
If your items are faulty on arrival, you have 5 working days in which to inform us of the fault. Items should be returned in their original packaging complete with all accessories and documentation. Once we have verified the fault, we'll issue a replacement or full refund to you via your original payment method. We will not be able to reimburse your return carriage costs.
We test returned items, and if a returned item is found not to be faulty by our technicians we will return the item to you, in this instance you will be liable for the return carriage.
Items Faulty in Warranty Period
If any of your purchases develop a fault, and it's more than 5 working days since receipt, then provided your item is within its warranty period, you are entitled to a warranty repair. In some cases, manufacturers provide a specialist full on-site service and/or telephone help facilities for your convenience which we recommend you use in order to correct the fault quickly. All repairs after 5 working days of receipt are referred directly to the manufacturer under warranty terms (unless otherwise stated).
Please note that our open-box/ex-display/bulk/refurbished stock is sold with varying warranty days. It is the customer’s responsibility to confirm in writing from us prior to purchase the warranty period. Any claims outside the warranty period will not be accepted.
If you change your mind
Please note this policy will only apply to consumers only and not to @work customers or Business-to-Business transactions.
If you have simply changed your mind about any item ordered and you wish to return it, you can do so provided you inform us of your decision within 7 working days of receipt. The item must not be used and must be 'as new' when returned to us. However consumers will not have any right to cancel a Contract for the supply of any of the products listed in clause 5.3 of our terms and conditions.
Once you've informed us that you wish to return goods, you will have to do so at your own expense. Once the item is received by ILGS warehouse, we will refund the price of the Product in full, including the standard cost of sending the item to you. To clarify the excess charge on express delivery services will not be refunded.
Any Products that you return to us are returned at your own risk, therefore you should take reasonable care that any Products to be returned are fully insured, correctly addressed and adequately packed and, if it is agreed by us that you are returning them yourself rather than using our returns collection service, carried by a reputable carrier.
For @work customers or Business-to-Business transactions where we agree to accept unwanted Products back from you we reserve the right to charge you a re-stocking fee of the higher of 30% of the Product sales price or the sum of £50+vat which you agree to pay upon re-stocking. It is upto ILGS discretion weather to accept or refuse any Returns, for any accepted returns products must be unopened and in a fully resalable condition and if they are not or you have not paid the re-stocking fee we may refuse to accept the Products back.
